Leg & Knee

Leg and knee pain can sneak into everyday life. Whether you’re walking up stairs, getting out of the car, or trying to enjoy a longer walk. It might start as a mild ache, but left unchecked, it can really start to affect how you move and feel. At Click & Correct, we look at the whole picture: how your hips, knees, ankles, and spine are working together. When one part is off, the others often have to compensate.

Here are some of the leg and knee problems we regularly help with:

A dull ache at the front or inside of the knee

This is often linked to how the kneecap is tracking, especially if you’ve been doing more walking, running, or kneeling than usual.

Sharp pain when bending or going down stairs

Usually caused by irritation inside the knee joint, sometimes due to cartilage or ligament stress.

Pain or tightness in the hamstrings or calves

This can happen when the muscles are overworking to stabilise the leg, often due to issues higher up in the hips or lower back.

Stiffness or grinding in the knee

Sometimes the knee doesn’t move as smoothly as it should, which can lead to clicking or a grinding sensation — especially after periods of rest.

Numbness or weakness down the leg

If the discomfort includes pins and needles, tingling, or giving way, it may be related to a nerve being compressed or irritated higher up, often in the lower back.

Leg and knee pain doesn’t mean you have to stop being active. Most of the time, we can help reduce the discomfort, improve your movement, and stop you feeling like you’re walking on eggshells.
